Project Dinnertime for Diabetes

Nutrition Australia ACT is excited to announce the launch of a new service – Project Dinnertime for People Living with Diabetes!

The three-week cooking programs help put healthy eating principles for diabetes into practice with simple, quick and budget friendly recipes, and is a great opportunity to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Delivered by Accredited Practising Dietitians, the cooking programs are designed to complement the individual nutrition care plans of people living with diabetes. Specific cooking programs are available for people with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.

 

Participants will:

  • Cook two nutritious dishes from our recipe selection
  • Receive individualised nutrition advice and support to help achieve their healthy eating goals
  • Receive the Project Dinnertime Kitchen Companion Cookbook with recipes & simple tips to inspire more cooking at home!

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Cost: $180.00 (Inc. GST) per participant for the 3 week program
