We offer both one-on-one tailored Cooking Clinics and Group Cooking Classes to enable participants with the confidence and skills to prepare nutritious and tasty meals at home.NAACT is a NDIS registered service provider

One-on-one Cooking Clinics

Delivered by an Accredited Practising Dietitian, in a fully accessible Kitchen, each Cooking Clinic is tailored according to experience, ability and specific food and nutrition goals. A carer, support worker or family member is encouraged to attend at no extra cost.

Cooking Clinic participants will:
 – cook their choice of two nutritious dishes from our recipe selection
 – take away four prepared meals to enjoy at home
 – receive individualised nutrition advice and support to help achieve their healthy eating goals.
 – receive the Project Dinnertime Kitchen Companion Cookbook with recipes and simple tips to inspire more cooking at home!

We can help with:
 – increasing confidence and skills in the kitchen
 – inspire healthy eating
 – making healthy food choices to manage specific dietary requirements including: diabetes, maintaining a healthy weight, lowering cholesterol, coeliac diease, allergies and    intolerances, and many more – each session is tailored Kitchen companionto you.

Group Cooking Classes

Our group cooking series give participants the confidence and skills to prepare delicious, healthy meals whilst providing an avenue for participation and social connectedness. Participants are supported by an Accredited Practising Dietitian in our fully equipped food skills kitchen.

Each session, participants will:
 – cook their own two course meal
 – enjoy eating a two course meal together
 – receive nutrition advice and support to achieve their healthy eating goals

The group cooking series includes 3 sessions. Each session will run for 2 hours, once a week for 3 weeks. Designed for a maximum of 4 participants. A support worker, carer or family member is encouraged to attend at no extra cost.
